Provenance

We source as much produce as possible from local growers and suppliers.

Our Fish is landed in Scrabster, Peterhead and the East Neuk of Fife. Our Butchery Meat is locally grazed and bought through Perth and Thainstone markets by Campbells Prime Meats in Edinburgh.

​Soft Fruits and Vegetables are grown throughout Fife and Angus and delivered by Mark Murphy and our Game is supplied from Local Dealers along with Venison from the Cairngorms. Grahams Family Dairy supply us with all our dairy needs and we source our cheese from independent cheese makers from around Scotland through JR Fine Foods



Lunches and Evening Meals

Open Wednesday to Sunday for Lunch and Dinner (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays)
We source the freshest local ingredients to create mouth-watering dishes for our seasonally changing menus. Our team of award winning chefs create a range of modern Scottish dishes which are not over complicated and let the flavours speak for themselves.




Morning Coffee, Pastries and Breakfasts

We are open from 10am serving freshly ground coffee, homemade pastries and cakes as well as a range of made to order breakfast dishes.



Snacks and Light Bites

We have a snack menu available at lunch time and in the evening. So if you are just looking for a light snack or a bite to eat while in for a drink with friends then why not try our selection of breads, dips and range of sharing platters.


Cocktails

We have some fantastic fresh fruit Cocktails on our Bar Menu which are ideal before or after a meal or even if you have just popped in for a drink with friends.

There is also a great range of wines by the glass and beers to choose from as well as a choice of malt whiskys.



Private Functions

The View is also a unique venue for exclusive private functions such as Birthdays, Anniversaries or Weddings with stunning views across the Tay and catering for up to 60 people.

​Whether you are looking for anything from a finger buffet to a full sit down meal it’s the ideal setting for any special occasion.



Outside Area

We have a secluded area at the back of the restaurant which is a real sun trap and if perfect for dining or simply relaxing with a cold drink on a summers day.

    Prosecco £7.50

Booking is required 24 hours in advance.

Includes a selection of delicious freshly prepared filled sandwiches, wraps, homemade pastries and fresh cream cakes served with a selection of teas and freshly ground coffee.
